POSITION DESCRIPTION


Title: Product Truck Driver


Position Summary
Responsible for providing effective customer service to ENCO customers during delivery and pickup operations.
This job will primarily consist of local vehicle operations involving safely delivering and picking up materials
on and between job sites and other Enco facilities. On occasions, deliveries may be required throughout the Southeastern U.S.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Operate company trucks for the delivery, pick up and relocation of products and materials.

2. Perform required before-, during-, and after-operation inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisor.

3. Provide excellent customer service during delivery and pickup operations.

4. Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs.

5. Maintain and protect all property entrusted to you in excellent condition.

6. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.


Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

1. Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving.

2. Ability to operate and maintain various vehicles in a safe manner at all times.

3. Ability to communicate effectively with employees, supervisors and customers.

4. Ability to work independently.

5. Ability to perform heavy manual tasks under varying weather conditions.


Education and Experience

1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

2. 1 or more year(s) experience as truck driver.

3. Valid local commercial driver’s license

(MVR must show no more than two (2) traffic violations and one (1) at fault accident in previous three (3) year period).

4. Other endorsements as required by law for vehicle assigned.

Physical Demands
Medium to Heavy. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds on a regular basis. Must be able to climb, balance,
stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and walk. Requires prolonged sitting, and driving.

Normal Work Schedule
Must be willing to work/drive flexible hours (i.e. early mornings, late afternoons, nights or weekends) in order to meet customer demands.
Overtime may be scheduled regularly.

Work Environment
Must be able to work in severe weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to heat, cold, wet and/or humid conditions, and vibration.



Personal Protective Equipment
Position requires wearing safety shoes. Work gloves required for handling material and tie downs. Hard hat and safety glasses in
accordance with jobsite requirements and should be kept in vehicle at all times.
